This is a call for entries for Art of the Northeast 2010. It is hosted by The Silvermine Galleries, recognized as one of New England's most respected showcases for established and emerging artists.

At the World Artist Network we are collaborating with Silvermine to help bring new talent to the exhibit, and we would like to help you apply for this opportunity.

The entry deadline is March 10, 2010, and that means we need to have all your information by March 2 in order to ensure a timely entry.

The following information is part of the application and you need to make sure your work and you as an artist comply with the requirements:

-Artist must be 17 years old or older
-Recent original work in any media is accepted (made after Jan. 2008)
-Reproductions are not accepted

-Wall hung works may not exceed 96" in any direction and must be ready for hanging
-Indoor or Outdoor Sculptures should not exceed 12'h x 4'w x 4'd base included
-Installations may not alter gallery's floor or walls
-Motion media - artist must provide and deliver all components required for viewing artwork.

To submit your application, we would need:

-For still media JPEG no larger than 8" width or height, with a 300 DPI resolution. Full views are required, detailed are optional.

-For motion media, file must be in QuickTime or Real Player and not exceed 35 minutes.

ALL ARTWORK MUST BE FOR SALE, THE GALLERY CHARGES 50% COMMISSION ON SALES.
